The Crown mines on a blustery day

The engine houses at the Crown Mines, Botallack, West Cornwall, UK. This area is a Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and has been used as the backdrop for many a TV series and films including as a Poldark filming location. It is a very windy and exposed location and this day was no exception.
